Sierra Nevada Winter Weather Advisory Extended
A Winter Weather Advisory has been extended for the Sierra Nevada above 5000 feet through 10 AM this morning.
Snow levels range from 3500 through 6000 feet.
Two to four inches of total snow accumulation is expected above 4000 feet. Half a foot to one foot of snow is likely above 6000 feet.
Winds are gusting up to fifty-five mph over the crest of the Sierra.
According to the National Weather Service, another storm system will impact the Sierra from Thursday evening into Friday.
Unsettled weather will continue through the weekend.
