Tree Down In Bank Of America Parking Lot
Tree Down In Bank Of America Parking Lot

There have been some downed trees and vehicle accidents this morning as a wet storm system passes through the Mother Lode.

A large tree fell onto Old Wards Ferry Road earlier this morning near the turnoff to the Lowe's store. Vehicles have had to drive around the branches and debris. As you can see from the photo, a tree also fell onto the Bank of America parking lot on Mono Way in Sonora.

The CHP reports that a pickup truck has slid off Rock Creek Road near the Milton Road intersection in Calaveras County. It is blocking a portion of Rock Creek Road. There is also an incident reported on Mono Way near Village Drive.

PG&E reports that there are still 254 customers without power in the Copperopolis area caused by down trees. There is not an estimated restoration time. In Tuolumne County, there are 284 customers without electricity. The largest power outage is in the Phoenix Lake-Cedar Ridge area. PG&E is hoping to have those customers restored by 10 o'clock this morning.
