Sierra Winter Storms Through The Weekend
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the Sierra Nevada above 7000 feet through Saturday 4pm.
That will be followed by a Winter Storm Watch above 6000 feet from Saturday afternoon through Sunday morning.
Snow levels this weekend will range from 6000 through 7500 feet.
Nine inches to three feet of total snow accumulation is expected above 7000 feet.
Winds of ten to twenty-five mph are likely with gusts up to fifty mph through Monday.
Unsettled weather may continue through much of next week, with additional storms possible.
