The low pressure system bringing light snow showers above 2500 feet will slowly move east on Saturday. A few snow showers could linger in the Sierra Nevada through Saturday evening.
A Frost Advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service for the Mother Lode, below 2000 feet, on Sunday morning from midnight through 8AM.
Temperatures will fall into the mid 20's to low 30's.
Sensitive vegetation and outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered. These temperatures can also be harmful to livestock and pets. Hazardous driving conditions should also be expected.
