Technology Campus In Twain Harte?
EDA Director Larry Cope will talk about some of the business happenings in Tuolumne County.
Cope will be the guest on Mother Lode Views this weekend. One of the topics will be the possibility of creating a "technology campus" at the former Black Oak Elementary School. Cope has been in talks with people interested in the idea, and it could serve as a business incubator for software and gaming companies. It would likely require some grant funding to get started, but the hope is that it would eventually be self supporting.
In addition, Cope will talk about downtown Sonora, as some businesses have gone out, and others are starting to move in. He will also highlight the happenings of the EDA, Economic Prosperity Council, Business Alliance, and Central Sierra Economic Development District.
Mother Lode Views airs Saturday and Sunday morning at 9:30 on AM-1450 KVML. Mother Lode Views can also be heard Sunday morning at 10 o'clock on 93.5 KKBN and at 9am on STAR 92.7.
