Tuolumne County, CA -- Caltrans reports Highway 108 Sonora Pass is temporarily closed at Kennedy Meadows due to snow. They are not giving any estimated time of when the roadway will re-open.
Caltrans is advising motorists to find an alternative route. Highway 120 Tioga Pass and Highway 4 Ebbets pass are both open. To check on road conditions click on traffic.
Also, according to the National Weather Service snow could accumulate to one to two inches above 8500 feet.
In addition, there is a threat of thunderstorms in the Sierra Nevada through tonight. Small hail and brief heavy rains are expected with the thunderstorms. The say rainfall amounts will be less than a quarter of an inch.
