Sonora, CA -- The Tuolumne County Supervisors will decide how to go about hiring a new County Counsel.

Gregory Oliver recently announced his retirement. The Supervisors will decide whether to hire an outside firm to conduct the search, or have it done in house by the CAO and Human Resources Department. It is noted that county's like San Benito recently spent $30,000 for the service. The Supervisors will also approve a tentative timeline, and decide how the applicants will be screened and interviewed.

In other business, the Board will vote whether to appoint Marge Warner to the Area 12 Agency on Aging Advisory Council. They will also give a Certificate of Recognition to Tait James Mele for attaining the Eagle Scout Court of Honor. Tuesday's meeting begins at 9am, and it will be streamed live in the multimedia section of myMotherLode.com.
