Crash On Highway 49

Mokelumne Hill, CA -- There is an accident on Highway 49 in Mokelumne Hill. An SUV and motorcycle have crashed.
Emergency crews are on the scene, but there is no word on injuries.
CHP reports the roadway is blocked off in both directions so motorist will want to avoid the area. We will keep you update as more information becomes available.

Update 4:20pm: CHP reports an update to the accident in Calaveras County. It is on Highway 49 and 26 in Mokelumne Hill. They say an SUV, pick up truck and motorcycle are all involved in the crashed. CHP reports there are major injuries and an air amblance has been called in to the scene.
Update 4:40pm: CHP reports they have now opened one lane of traffic on Highway 49. It had been completely shut down for about 20 minutes. Traffic is moving slowly so motorist may still want to avoid the area.
Update 5:15pm: CHP reports Highway 49 is completely open.
