Sonora, CA - Two popular Mother Lode restaurants are up for sale. Diamondback Grill in downtown Sonora and The Standard Pour are on the market.
Eric Davis, and his wife Claudia, have owned the grill nearly 21 years and the Standard Pour for over 2 years.
Davis says, "We've had an exit strategy planned for years and we think it's an appropriate time." Davis adds, "We're at a stage in our lives where we'd like to work a little less and enjoy our time a little more."
He says he doesn't expect to sell them over night and anticipates the restaurants being on the market for a while. He says he hopes the new owner will want to expand the Diamondback Grill brand and grow the business in the state.
Davis says he and his wife have no plans to leave the area, but they do want to do some traveling. The businesses are listed through a local real estate firm.
