Autumn Heat
High temperatures will remain well above normal on Tuesday and Wednesday in central California. Tuesday is expected to be the hottest of the two.
Temperatures in the Sierra Nevada at 4000 feet will range from the upper 80's to mid 90's. Even at 8000 feet, temperatures will range from the mid 70's through the mid 80's.
According to the National Weather Service, it will not be quite as hot on Thursday and Friday.
Hot weather safety tips:
Drink plenty of water. Avoid strenuous activity during the hottest part of the day. Never leave children or pets unattended in a vehicle. Wear light weight and light colored clothing.
