Early Morning Highway 108 Accident
Two vehicles collided on Highway 108 near the Stockton Road intersection.
The CHP reports that it happened at 4:36am earlier today. Officials report that 65-year-old Alf Klingstrand of Sonora was driving on Stockton Road and failed to yield the right-of-way while turning onto Highway 108. His car was hit by an oncoming vehicle driven by 26-year-old Cody Vanostrand of Empire, California. Klingstrand was taken to Sonora Regional Medical Center to treat reported minor injuries. Vanostrand was not injured.
