Celebration And Construction Slow Motorists
Calaveras County, CA - Caltrans reports it will close Highway 49 from Highway 4/Finnegan Lane to Demarest Street/ Murphys Grade Road for the Angels Camp Centennial Celebration Street Fair on Saturday, September 29, 2012, from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
They say motorists should expect 5 minute delays and alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.
Also, Caltrans will direct one-lane of traffic on Highway 49 from Six Mile Creek to Highway 4/ Finnegan Lane as crews do grinding and paving on the roadway.
They say work will begin on Monday, September 24, 2012, through Tuesday, September 25, 2012, from 6:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
Caltrans says motorists should expect 15 minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.
