A Big Win For Summerville

The Summerville Bears earned a victory Friday night at Denair High School. They beat Denair 48 to 6.
To open the game, Tanner Krieg ran back an 80 yard kick return to put the Bears up early. Next Colton Ebbers put up a touchdown to give the Bears a 14 point lead. As the first quarter wound down the Bears added on ten more points giving them a 24-0 lead going into the second quarter.
In the second quarter the Bears added up the lead with three more touchdowns. Krieg ran in a 47 yarder, then Jesse Roberson placed a pass directly into Rosendo Amaya-Wood's hands for a 44 yard touchdown, and at the end of the second quarter Jesse Roberson ran in a touchdown off a quarterback sneak. That left the Bears with a very comfortable lead of 45-0 at the half.
In the second half Tanner Krieg kicked a 14 yard field goal to continue to add to the lead. At the end of the fourth quarter the Bears gave up their first points of the night off of a big Coyote run.
The Summerville Bears put another 'W' in the books as they move onto homecoming week.
The Bears Junior Varsity team claimed a 56-0 win in Denair as well. Excellent performances Humphrey Quirie, Bryce Ferrel, and Justin McCready.
