Fire Burning In Forest
Groveland, CA -- There is a fire burning in the Stanislaus National Forest.
The smoke was spotted this morning by a Ranger from Yosemite National Park. The fire is located in the area of Bear Mountain near Camp Mather. It is estimated to be 1-2 acres. Officials are arriving to battle the fire from both the air and ground. No homes or structures are currently in danger.

Updated at 11:25am: There is no new size estimate. Crews continue to fight the fire from both the air and ground.
