Angels Camp Museum Director Terminated
Angels Camp, CA - Angels Camp City Administrator Michael McHatten says Craig Hadley was told on Monday he was being terminated as the Angels Camps Museum Director.
Hadley served as director since February 16th of last year. McHatten says Hadley was working part time as an at-will employee meaning that either side could terminate their business relationship with no cause.
McHatten says "While change is never good, we're looking for a change that will in the long run benefit the museum and the community and work for a shared common vision for the future"
McHatten cited confidentiality and would not give any reasons or further details for Hadley's termination.
Angels Camp Museum just held its grand opening for its new Artisan's Exhibit featuring live demonstrations of carpentry, printing and textile manufacturing. McHatten says Hadley worked hard on those exhibits and they will continue to be a new attraction at the museum.
