Tuolumne County, CA -- CHP reports a two car accident Highway 49 and Tuttletown Road near Columbia. An ambulance is on the scene, but there is no word on injuries at this time. Highway 49 is shut down so motorists will want to avoid that area. We will keep you updated as more information becomes available.

Update 2pm: CHP reports Highway 49 is now open and traffic is moving freely. They say accident is under investigation. No word on exactly how the accident happened or injuries.
