A Summer Sizzler
According to the National Weather Service, triple digit heat will continue into next week.
The hottest days will be Friday and Saturday.
Temperatures in the high Sierra Nevada will range from the eighties into the nineties.
Afternoon temperatures in the central valley will range from 105 through 110 degrees.
For the next several days, overnight temperatures in the Mother Lode may not fall below the seventies.
Drink plenty of water. Avoid strenuous activity during the hottest part of the day. Never leave children or pets unattended in a vehicle. Wear light weight and light colored clothing.
