Tuolumne County – Caltrans reports more repairs and delays for commuters on the Highway 108 Bypass in Tuolumne County. Flaggers will be doing one-way traffic control on Highway108 from Standard Road/Mono Way to Draper Mine Road. Crews will be working on construction along that stretch of roadway starting Sunday, October 6 through Friday, October 11 from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
This past Friday paving on that stretch caused delays up to 30 minutes, especially during commute times. Motorists may want to take alternative routes like Tuolumne, Soulsbyville and Phoenix Lake Roads.
The construction is part of the $52.9 million Highway 108 East Sonora Bypass Stage II Project that began on April 19, 2012.
