Sonora, CA -- Many people are waking up this morning without electricity.

High winds and heavy rainfall are resulting in numerous downed trees and power lines.
Tuolumne County now has around 2,200 customers without electricity, according to PG&E. 301 are in the greater Sonora area, and 183 are in Twain Harte. Those customers should be restored by mid-morning.

1,200 are without power in Pinecrest and 460 in Strawberry. PG&E says those customers may be without electricity until mid afternoon.

West Point and Railroad Flat have been hit hard by outages in Calaveras County. Right now there is not an estimated restoration time for those areas. 45 customers are without power in Arnold, and they are expected to be restored by noon.
