A Wind Advisory remains in effect for the Mother Lode through Saturday 4 AM.
Winds of twenty to thirty mph are expected with gusts ranging from forty to sixty mph.
The National Weather Service has also issued a Winter Storm Warning for the Sierra Nevada from Friday 4 PM through Saturday 4 PM.
Half a foot to three feet of snow accumulation is expected above 5000 through 5500 feet.
Snow levels will lower to 4000 through 4500 feet by Saturday afternoon.
Winds of twenty-five to thirty-five mph are likely with gusts ranging from sixty to eighty mph over ridges.
