Amber Alert Cancelled
Salida, CA -- A Central Valley teen returned to her home safely after an Amber Alert was issued last night.
Tuolumne and Calaveras Counties were included in the regional alert. Stanislaus County officials say 16-year-old Christina Anderson was taken from her Salida home by 38-year-old Calvin Paul Rodrigues at around 9pm. He brought her back later in the night. The Amber Alert was cancelled at 12:30am.
Rodrigues was taken to the Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department for questioning. Anderson appeared physically fine.
