Christmas Dinner Is Served
Sonora, CA-- In the spirit of the season, many local residents will be donating their time to make sure less fortunate families in Tuolumne County receive a warm holiday meal.
This afternoon the annual Free Christmas "Eve" Day Dinner is happening from noon - 6:00 pm at the Mother Lode Fairgrounds. Santa and his elves will have gifts available for kids up to 16 years old.
On Christmas Day tomorrow, a holiday meal including turkey will all the trimmings, will be served at the Tuolumne Memorial Hall from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Gifts will be featured for the kids.
Also Sunday, there will be a Christmas dinner served up at the Sonora Opera Hall from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Families are encouraged to come by for free gifts as well.
Finally, a free Christmas meal will be provided by the Jamestown Christian Fellowship at Jamestown Elementary School starting at 3:00 pm.
