Sonora, CA -- Get your beans today.

Mutz's Bean Feed begins at noon at the intersection of Washington and Linoberg Streets in downtown Sonora. A line usually starts to form about an hour before the event. Organizer Galen (Mutz) Mutzner began serving free beans in 1987 to anyone who wanted them, and the event has become a Mother Lode tradition.

Mutz calls it the biggest social event of the year in Tuolumne County. Immediately following the Bean Feed will be the Pop Hudson sing.
