Traffic Moving On Highway 49
Mokelumne Hill, CA - Highway 49 is now completely open near Mokelumne Hill.
The highway was closed after a vehicle went down the embankment near the lower Mokelumne Hill grade at around 9:30am. Officials report that one person was flown to Mercy San Juan Hospital to treat major injuries. Caltrans was dispatched to repair a guardrail that was damaged.
