Phoenix Lake - Big Hill Fire, view from Sonora

Sonora, CA -- There are some fires burning in the Mother Lode.
CAL Fire reports that a 2-3 acre fire is located in the area of Phoenix Lake Road and Orchard Drive. In addition, there is fire burning in an area along North Bald Mountain Road in the Big Hill region. CAL Fire does not have a size estimate. More information will be released when it is available, according to Lisa Williams of CAL FIre.
There is a 30 acre fire burning in an isolated area of West Point near Bald Mountain in Calaveras County.
