Valley Springs, CA -- An unidentified Valley Springs teen suffered major injuries in a Tuesday collision on Highway 12.

The CHP reports that three sixteen-year-old males were traveling eastbound near the intersection of Upper Double Springs Road. The tire on the 1994 Jeep Wrangler blew out and the vehicle left the highway and went over a steep embankment. The vehicle rolled over several times and one of the passengers was ejected. The teen sustained major injuries and was flown to a hospital outside of the area. The accident occurred at 4:35pm.
