Vehicle Hits Comcast Pole

Wallace, CA - Some DSL internet customers experienced a loss of service this morning.
A vehicle slammed into a Comcast utility pole on Highway 12 near Ward Avenue in Wallace at 1:36am causing damage to fiber optic lines. The company allows some local internet providers to access DSL through its equipment, so it impacted a wide range of web subscribers across the region.
A Comcast spokesperson says crews have been on scene all morning, and most customers should now have services restored.
