Circle Drive Fire

Sonora, CA-- Firefighters are staying busy tonight.
Crews are on the scene of a vegetation fire on the 11000 block of Circle Drive across from Highway 108 in Sonora. Power lines are reportedly down in the area. CAL Fire reports it is one acre or less.
On the Calaveras County/San Joaquin County border line, there is a 3-acre vegetation fire on Highway 26 and Shelly Road. A lightening strike to a power pole is the suspected cause.
Travel with caution in these areas.
Update at 7:20 pm: CAL Fire reports both fires are near containment.
