Mountain Ranch Fire Grows To 50 Acres

Mountain Ranch, CA-- A vegetation fire in the Mountain Ranch area continues to burn tonight on the 6000 block of Frecerro Road.

CAL Fire reports that the fire has now grown to 50 acres and some structures in the area have been threatened.

Traffic control is currently in effect on Old Gulch Road and Michel Road. Travel with caution in the area.

Update at 8:00 pm:  CAL Fire's Lisa Williams says the fire is still at 50 acres.  Fire crews are expected to work through Thursday.  The cause is under investigation.
