Sonora, CA -- Water supply remains a major problem in certain areas of Tuolumne County.

T.U.D. is calling for emergency conservation in the areas of Curtis Creek Ranches, Crystal Falls (area located by the stables), Big Hill, Columbia, Willow Springs, Monte Grande and Ponderosa Hills. Residents in these areas are asked to limit water consumption as much as possible.

The water storage tanks that serve these areas are becoming low, and there is a chance of water running out if conservation measures are not taken.
