January To End With Winter Storm Watch
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for the Sierra Nevada from Sunday morning through Sunday night.
Snow levels will range from 4000 through 5000 feet.
Three to six inches of snow accumulation is expected above 4000 feet. Eight to ten inches of snow is possible above 7000 feet.
Winds will gust up to fifty mph over the highest elevations.
The Motherlode will see one quarter to a half inch of rain on Sunday. Thunderstorms are also possible during the day.
