Parrotts Ferry Road Is Open
Vallecito, CA -- Parrotts Ferry Road had been closed down since early this morning as officials have been investigating an officer involved shooting.
31-year-old Jon Ryan Young was shot by Sonora area CHP Officers following a multi county chase that originated last night in Stockton. During the chase Ryan allegedly tried to hit an Angels Camp patrol car, and he also struck a Sonora Area CHP vehicle before he was shot. Ryan is listed in critical condition at a Modesto area hospital.
Law enforcement officials just completed taking aerial shots of the crime scene, and the road opened at 1:04pm. The investigation is ongoing.
