Columbia, CA -- Boulders and mud continue to be a problem on Parrotts Ferry Road approximately one mile from the Tuolumne-Calaveras County line.

County road crews have been working to clear Parrotts Ferry since the six o'clock hour this morning. CHP Officer Mike Remmel now estimates that Parrotts Ferry Road will be closed until approximately 9am. Alternate routes are recommended. Traffic can still move from Sonora to Columbia, but not Columbia to Calaveras County.
