Sonora, CA -- Sonora Regional Medical Center has begun the demolition of the former Sonora Community Hospital campus on South Forest Road.
SRMC's administration and governing board decided to tear down the vacant buildings after failing to find a use for the campus. Portions of the campus have been decaying over recent years and multiple water leaks have been located. SRMC has not decided what it will do with the property once the work is completed. Olberg Construction is in charge of the demolition.
