California Budget Agreement?

Sacramento, CA -- Governor Schwarzenegger's office says a framework has been agreed upon for a budget compromise.
Schwarzenegger and Republican and Democratic leaders met in private yesterday at an office in Santa Monica. The Governor's office reports that details will be worked out over the weekend and other lawmakers will be briefed on Monday. The Governor's office did not provide details about the framework, but indicated that a vote could come as early as next week. California's budget deficit is around $19 billion.
