Jamestown, CA - The CHP is still looking for clues regarding a series of rock throwing incidents that occurred in late May along Highway 108.

"We still have an officer dedicated just to this investigation," says CHP Officer Mike Remmel. "We do have suspects and we are looking into their activities, but we still need the public's help."

No arrests have been made to date. The most notable rock throwing incident involved a rock hitting a windshield of a vehicle driven by Donna Modrell of Jamestown, who had to be airlifted out of the area because of serious facial injuries. The crime was reported late in the evening on May 23rd.

"If you have any information or have just heard a rumor, please call the California Highway Patrol," adds Remmel. "Please give us the information so that we can hopefully put the responsible people behind bars."

Anyone with information should contact the CHP at 209-984-3944. There were four confirmed rock throwing incidents in late May.
