Columbia College Elects Board President
Columbia, CA -- The Columbia College Foundation Board of Directors has elected Mel Kirk to serve as Board President, serving a two-year term.
Kirk will replace out-going President Randy Selesia, who served from July 2008 to June 2010. Kirk, a third generation Tuolumne County resident has served on the Board of Directors since 2006. "I believe in giving back to the community, " explained Kirk, "and this Board has been a fantastic way for me to do just that. I am honored to serve as President, particularly at a time when the Foundation is experiencing such growth and support from our community."
The Board also elected Dwain McDonald, retired Tuolumne County Superintendent of Schools, to serve as Vice President, Keturah Wilk as Treasurer, and Doralyn Foletti as Secretary. The Foundation Board of Directors is comprised of volunteer community members that dedicate their time and effort to the Foundation's mission of supporting students.
