Sonora City Council Recognizes Aitken

Sonora, CA --- The Sonora City Council Monday will recognize and congratulate retired police officer Jeff Aitken.
Aitken was recently honored by the California Chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) at their recent Annual Law Enforcement Recognition Dinner. Other issues discussed at the meeting will be consideration to approve the consolidation of the Building and Planning Department and the Grants/Redevelopment into one department, establish a new salary range for the classification of Community Development Director and approve the amended Job Description for Community Development Director.
The Sonora City Council Meeting will be Monday, August 2nd at 5:00 pm at Sonora City Hall.
