Accident Injures Twain Harte Man
Copperopolis, CA -- A Twain Harte man suffered serious injuries from a motorcycle accident in Copperopolis.
The CHP reports that 47-year-old Joseph Cognetti was riding westbound on Copper Cove Drive yesterday afternoon. A GMC truck driven by 19-year-old Diego Salas of Turlock was traveling eastbound and attempted to turn north into a service station. Salas did not see Cognetti coming and the two vehicles collided. Cognetti was air-lifted to Modesto Memorial Hospital. The accident occurred at 12:10pm.
