Avery, CA -- A roadside vigil is set for Sunday to remember fallen Marine Gavin Brummund who was killed in Afghanistan this week.
The vigil will begin at 3pm Sunday along Hwy 4 in Avery. Community members are encouraged to bring American flags.
Brummund is a 22-year-old native of Arnold. The 2006 Bret Harte High School graduate is the son of Debbie Morris and Greg Brummund.
