Concerns Over Pinecrest Lake
Mother Lode Views focused on a debate between the State Water Resources Board and T.U.D. regarding water levels at Pinecrest Lake. Guests included T.U.D. General Manager Pete Kampa, Board President Mike Sarno, and District Engineer Tom Scesa. -

New Warden Talks Prison Issues
Mother Lode Views featured the new Warden at the Sierra Conservation Center. Heidi Lackner was appointed in early April by Governor Jerry Brown to lead the state prison located near Jamestown. She spoke about efforts to fill the state's fire camps, and how AB-109 has impacted the prison. -

Dry Winter, High Fire Threat
This weekend Mother Lode Views will focus on Fire Prevention. The program will discuss how the dry winter has increased the wildfire threat especially after the dry Mother Lode winter. The discussion will focus on what you can do to protect your home and help Cal Fire at same time. Other topics will include defensible space, burn permits and the rising cost to fight fires. Featured guests will be Cal Fire Battalion Chiefs Barry Rudolph and Jeff Sanders as well as Cal Fire Fire Prevention Specialist Nancy Longmore. -

New Tuolumne County Counsel
Mother Lode View featured new Tuoumne County Counsel Sarah Carillo. The Sonora native talked about the duties of the position, and changes the office will see over the coming months.
