Frankenweenie

Tim Burton's 1984 short film Frankenweenie is resurrected for the big screen with this stop-motion 3-D remake, which will once again center on a boy who reanimates his dead terrier and the suburban fallout that occurs because of it. Big Fish screenwriter John August provides the script for the Walt Disney production

"Great cinema, good fun, a visual feast for pie-eyed Burton fans - and a terrifically warped reminder of just how freaky a PG film can be. Any child who's easily spooked at the movies should stay wide of this one, as it ventures into some pretty dark territory pretty darned quickly.." -- San Francisco Chronicle - Mick LaSalle
"This weirdly affecting animated feature may be director Tim Burton's most personal film to-date."-- ReelViews -James Berardinelli
