I LOVE these appetizers and was so happy to know I could make them at home- without using a deep fryer! Now you can too! I combined several recipes & techniques to come up with this gem.

AmountMeasureIngredients
12 whole Jalapenos (with stem)
8 oz
softened cream cheese
Mozzarella Cheese
2 eggs
2 Tbsp milk
1 cup fine breadcrumbs
Cayenne, Cumin, Salt, Pepper, Paprika

To prepare:
Step 1) Heat oven to 350 degrees
Step 2) Slice each pepper in half lengthwise (do not remove stem)
Step 3) Remove seeds & ribs
Step 4) Rinse & Dry well
Step 5) Place on plate cover w/plastic wrap & microwave for 3 minutes
Step 6) Mix cream cheese, Mozzarella, ½ teaspoon each Cayenne & Cumin
Step 7) Fill the peppers with cheese mixture
Step 8) Beat eggs, milk. Add ½ teaspoon of: Cayenne, Cumin, Salt, Pepper, Paprika
