2010 Mother Lode Round-Up
The world famous Mother Lode Round-Up Parade kicks off in Downtown Sonora at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 8th, and will feature nearly 200 parade entries marching, trotting and rolling down the entire length of Washington Street. As usual, thousands of spectators can be expected, lining the street to watch and cheer. The Parade is recognized as the second largest parade in California (second only to the Rose Bowl Parade). It draws over 50,000 visitors and spectators and has become one of "the events to see" in California. The Parade has grown to 5 Sections of over 200 entries.
Remember, the Parade begins at 10am on Saturday, May 8th and there'll be a crowd so get there early to find a place to park and to stake your claim on place watch along Washington Street. Click here for the Parade Route or click here for the parade web cams.
