Fundraiser for Angels Murphys Arnold Boosters Club Youth Snowsports Program

A local screening schedule for Warren Miller's 2009/10 film "Dynasty"will be held in Angels Camp and Bear Valley. All proceeds from the screenings benefit AMA Snowsports. Now in its third year, the organization has raised nearly $20,000.00 to support local youth to participate in snow sports programs at Bear Valley Mountain. Tickets are Available in advance at Angels Market, Sierra Hills Market, Big Trees Market and the Bear Valley Sport Shop. $20 for Adults, $10 for children under 12. Ticket includes automatic entry in door prize drawing and a complimentary mid-week lift ticket to Bear Valley Mountain and Bear Valley Cross Country.

The Angels Murphys Arnold Boosters Club Youth Snowsports program supports the involvement of Calaveras County and Bear Valley kids in a range of winter sports activities and helps them build active life-long skills. The Snowsports program was founded in 2007 to promote and increase participation in winter sports by local school aged children, many of whom cannot afford to ski or snowboard. The organization provides funds to local school programs from Bear Valley to Angels Camp and has a scholarship program to help local kids participate in the race, freeride and development team programs at Bear Valley Mountain.
