The Forest Service today announced that the Stanislaus National Forest's (NF) Mi-Wok Ranger District is inviting the public to attend a planning meeting to discuss development of a proposal for the Twomile planning project. The desired conditions for this project are described in the Stanislaus NF Forest Plan Direction (2005), and this planning effort will incorporate aspects of desired conditions described in the 2008 Clavey River Watershed Assessment (CRWA).The approximate 18,000 acre Twomile planning area is located on the Mi-Wok Ranger District, within the 100,000 acre Clavey River watershed. The area encompasses portions of Hull Creek, Twomile Creek, Reed Creek, Cottonwood Creek, and the Clavey River.
