Sonora Community Contra Dance Feb
02/16/2013Hours: 7:30 PM-11:00 PM
Location: Aronos Club,37 E. Elkin,Sonora
Contra and traditional Square dancing as well as Irish Ceili Dancing in the Oldtime Country Barn Dance tradition. A Caller will give a short instruction before each dance and call the dance to live Oldtime stringband music.
The music and dancing will start at 7:30 PM, at the Aronos Club at 37
E. Elkin at Stewert St in down town Sonora. Musicians will be The
Aronos Club Rounders. The calling will be done by Sue, Wayne
and Lynn. There will be a Potluck at 6:30 for those who would like to come early.
Singles, couples and families are always welcome. Invite some friends
and be prepared for a good time and a fun evening of traditional
dancing and Oldtime music. Hope you can make it!
