Chairs for Charity 2013

Two community non-profit groups are joining forces again to present Chairs for Charity 2013.
Calaveras County Arts Council and Soroptimist International of Calaveras County are collaborating to provide a chance for local artists, schools, non-profits, community groups and organizations to profit from their own creativity. Professional artists and community groups receive 40% of the auction price. Entries for 2013 are limited to 30 -- and those are already in place. Judges choose, in advance, the best of the best and those 10 entries will be auction via live auction -- others will be sold via silent auction.
The venue is the San Andreas Town Hall, on Saturday, January 26, 2013 from 5-8P.M. Admission is $25/each which entitles attendees to a delicious buffet dinner, no-host bar, rounds of Musical Chairs, live and silent auction opportunities as well as raffle baskets from businesses and individuals in our local areas.
Tickets are sold in advance only -- and may be obtained by calling the Arts Council at 754-1774 or by visiting www.calaverasarts.org or www.soroptimistinternational.org.
