Come one and all to Columbia State Historic Park's annual Lamplight Tours on Friday, November 30th and Saturday, December 1st! Get ready to laugh and be merry with the costumed town of Columbia during this annual holiday themed event. Travel along the decorated town with a guide as a rumor of a huge gold nugget grows with each stop. This year's tour is sure to warm your heart as you witness the characters in their most fun roles yet! The tour will end at Angelo's Hall with refreshments for all.
"The Seven Pound Christmas Nugget" Lamplight Tour script was written by Columbia docents based on newspapers of actual events in 1853. Each stop will focus on a different event based on the newspaper research. Be prepared to be amazed at some of the real happenings of the town during the Gold Rush!
