The 11th Annual Big Trees Fall Art Show at Big Trees Family Day Celebration

Location: Big Trees State Park
Calaveras Big Trees State Park -- The 11th Annual Big Trees Fall Art Show will be held August 9 - September 3 in historic Jack Knight Hall in the state park.
The show is conducted by the Arts of Bear Valley, an association of 32 local artists whose works will be exhibited daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Paintings by local artists Karen O'Neill, Ruth Morrow, Margarit Carlsen and Helen Scofield will be raffled off during the exhibit, with proceeds going to Calaveras Big Trees Association, the non-profit that supports educational and interpretive programs within the park.
A reception will be held concurrent with the exhibit Sunday Sept. 2 from 1-4 p.m.
The arts group will also participate in the state park's annual Family Day celebration on Aug. 18, providing demonstrations and activities for young people.
